Consent standards · community-guidelines-v1-2026-09-25
This notice clarifies the meaning of the existing consent standards. We will separately announce any changes that add new obligations or penalties before they take effect. Rights to posts are set out in Terms of Service, while deletion and review records are in Privacy Policy; you can review both together.
2. English
TripNaru Community is for sharing real travel experiences through reviews, comments, replies, photos and nicknames. Both positive and negative experiences are welcome when described honestly. These guidelines form part of the Terms of Service, and we record the version accepted before your first post.
Rules
- Separate experience, fact and opinion — Write from your own visit or use, distinguish facts from opinions, and do not fabricate visits, manipulate a business’s reputation or hide promotional interests. An openly offered visit-review points program does not require high ratings or positive content and never permits fabricated reviews.
- Criticize the experience, not the person — Fair criticism and low ratings are allowed. Profanity, personal attacks, harassment, threats and hatred based on race, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age or similar traits are not.
- Keep contact details, external links and ads out — Do not post phone numbers, email addresses, messenger IDs, external links or promotional solicitations. Submission filters may reject them. Send information needed for support privately instead of publishing it in comments.
- Protect photos and personal information — Upload photos you took yourself. Check consent and necessity before showing identifiable faces, names, contact details, booking references or receipts, and mask unnecessary data. Do not carelessly publish a companion’s information or sensitive health details.
- No sexual, violent or illegal content — No sexual content, solicitation, encouragement of violence or self-harm, illegal trade or content sexualizing children. Urgent harmful or illegal content may be restricted promptly and reported to authorities where required.
- No impersonation, infringement or deliberate misinformation — Do not copy another person’s writing or photos without permission, impersonate a person or TripNaru, knowingly spread false information, or manipulate reviews or reporting through multiple accounts, spam or false reports.
Review and enforcement
Posts are subject to submission filters, available automated checks and operator review. OpenAI moderation may check comment and review text; photos, nicknames and account identifiers are not added as separate fields. This does not mean every violation is detected or every post is reviewed by a person before publication.
Three different reporters can cause a post to become visible only to its author while it is reviewed. A report is not proof of a violation: review may restore the post or keep it hidden or remove it. We aim to review reports and automated flags within 24 hours.
Reviews requiring prior verification are public only after approval. Other posts may be hidden or removed after a confirmed violation, with results communicated through the app. A legitimate complaint or low rating alone is not a reason for removal.
Serious or repeated violations can lead to temporary or indefinite writing restrictions. Reading, liking, reporting and blocking remain available under a writing restriction. You may ask support to reconsider a decision with the post and your reasons.
Reporting and blocking
Use the report action on reviews and comments to submit a reason and explanation. Urgent privacy exposure or rights concerns can also be emailed with the page or post. We do not reveal the reporter’s identity to the author.
Blocking restricts each person’s access to the other’s reviews, comments and related interactions or notifications. You can unblock in settings. Blocking does not erase copies already stored outside the service.
You can delete your own post through its controls. A placeholder may remain where there are replies, and moderation or dispute records can be retained separately under the Privacy Policy. In immediate danger, contact local emergency services rather than waiting for support.
To appeal a decision or request removal of content that infringes your rights, email hello@tripnaru.com with a link to or description of the post and your reason.
