Frequently asked questions

Find out how to prepare a trip on the web and use the app's booking overview, menu translation and conversation interpreter.

Where do I start planning on the website?

Explore cities and places on the home page, then choose Create trip to enter dates, travellers and daily pace. Confirm your conditions to request an itinerary. Check that it is ready, then sign in to view it.

When do I need to sign in?

You can explore public city photos, places and travel content without signing in. Sign in to view a completed itinerary and save the trip to your account.

Where do I open Trip guide in the app?

Select a trip and its completed itinerary in the app, then open Trip guide. Choose Menu, Translate or Interpreter. Available tools depend on your connection, sign-in status and usage allowance.

What does the booking overview show?

It brings together stored information, supported booking links and status for hotels, restaurants, sights and activities in your itinerary. It does not automatically collect or confirm every external booking.

How do I use menu translation?

Choose a menu photo in Trip guide and enter your party size, preferences and allergies. It helps explain dishes, printed prices and questions for staff. Confirm your order and allergy safety directly with staff.

Which languages does the interpreter support?

Choose two languages from Korean, Japanese and English, then type or speak. Voice use depends on microphone access, an internet connection and your usage allowance. You can type when voice is unavailable.

Does pointing the camera automatically translate everything?

Trip guide translates text from a selected photo or a sentence you enter. The separate live sign-translation screen currently shows a preparation notice.

Which cities can I explore?

Choose Seoul, Busan, Incheon, Gyeonggi or Jeju in Korea, and Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Fukuoka or Sapporo in Japan on the home page. Explore each city's photos and places before starting a trip.
