Paldalsan during King Jeongjo's reign. It served as a temporary residence for royal visits to Hyeollyungwon and functioned as a Yusubu office in everyday life. You can wander through the Visitor Center, Theater, and Exhibition Hall, and try on Dae Jang Geum costumes too! ✨

Palace History

This magnificent site was built on the eastern slope of Mt. Paldalsan during the 18th to 20th years of King Jeongjo's reign. King Jeongjo used it as a temporary residence during visits to Hyeollyungwon, while it functioned as a Yusubu office normally. It was so grand and useful that it earned the nickname Gyeongbokgung Palace's sub-palace! 🏛️
